Samsung continues to advance its customization offerings with the latest update for the Wonderland app, part of the well-regarded Good Lock suite. The newly released version 1.6.16 is now being deployed globally across Galaxy devices, bringing a notable improvement: enhanced battery efficiency.
This update’s standout feature is a significant reduction in power consumption for moving wallpapers. While Wonderland’s dynamic wallpaper capabilities have generally not been a major drain on battery life, this optimization allows users to enjoy vibrant visual effects with even less concern for battery usage.
Additionally, the update introduces a new Blur Effect for lock screen transitions, complete with both vertical and horizontal options. This feature enables deeper personalization and a smoother user experience. Other enhancements include several bug fixes and performance optimizations, such as:
- Resolving an issue where wallpapers on the Galaxy Z Flip cover screen could not be reset
- Fixing intermittent problems with video playback and animation freezing
- Addressing various app crashes during resource loading
These improvements reinforce Samsung’s commitment to responding to user feedback and maintaining continuous improvement across its Good Lock modules. The update is being distributed in phases, so availability may vary by device and region. Users are encouraged to check the Galaxy Store for updates by navigating to Menu » Updates and selecting Update all.
