Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 design just leaked: The slimmest fold ever

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 is shaping up to be a standout in the foldable market, with recent leaks—courtesy of @Jukanlosreve—highlighting a much slimmer and more refined design. The device sports a noticeably thinner profile, reportedly coming in at just 4.5mm when unfolded, setting a new benchmark for the Galaxy Fold series.

The Fold 7 also features a redesigned rear camera array, moving away from the prominent black camera rings seen on previous models. Instead, it opts for subtle silver accents, which, combined with the new ‘Blue Shadow’ colorway, give the device a modern and premium appearance.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the thinnest Galaxy Fold yet.

The new photos largely match what we’ve seen in previous renders, featuring a larger and slimmer design. Reports suggest the device is around 4.5mm thick when unfolded—even thinner than the 5.6mm Galaxy Z Fold 6. This puts it in closer competition with some of the sleekest foldables on the market.

Battery performance is expected to match its predecessor, delivering up to 40 hours and 28 minutes on a single charge. The phone carries an IP48 rating, offering some water resistance but, like most foldables, limited protection against dust.

Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 appears positioned to compete directly with the slimmest and most stylish foldables available. As anticipation builds, it will be interesting to see how the market responds to Samsung’s latest innovation.
