Tipster @techkeyz333 posted important details on X, which reveal hardware upgrades that suggest significant changes to display tech, cameras, and charging speeds.
Galaxy S25 FE leaked specifications
For display, the Galaxy S25 FE will take on a more power-saving LTPO panel. The new LTPO display can now go down to as low as 30Hz, allowing for longer battery life when using static content like reading or looking at photos. The actual screen panel being used is called “s6e3fc5,” and will have refresh rates of 30Hz, 48Hz, 60Hz, and 120Hz.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy S25 FE carries over a lot of the rear camera setup from last year’s model, such as the primary, ultra-wide, and telephoto sensors. The front-facing camera receives a significant upgrade, though: Samsung is replacing the selfie camera with Sony‘s IMX825 sensor. This 4K-enabled sensor offers better low-light performance and image quality, which is a substantial jump from the last generation.
