Leaked renders reveal Galaxy S26 Pro and Ultra designs

Recent leaks have provided an early look at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Pro and Ultra models, and the information is already generating significant industry buzz. The renders, released by well-known insiders SmartPrix and Yogesh Brar, reveal Samsung’s decision to return to a camera island design, a notable departure from the “floating camera” aesthetic of previous generations.

This move, reminiscent of the S21 Ultra, positions the camera module as a central design feature once again. For the S26 Ultra, three of its four lenses will be housed on the island; the Pro model will feature all three cameras within the same structure. In terms of form factor, Samsung appears to be streamlining the S26 lineup. Both the Pro and Ultra models are expected to be slimmer than their S25 predecessors; for instance, the Ultra is said to drop from 8.2mm to 7.9mm. This reduction supports a sleeker, more modern profile, which aligns with broader industry trends favoring compact, ergonomic devices.

Beyond the camera redesign, many signature design elements remain: rounded corners, flat sides, and all key controls located on the right-hand side. The back panels are understated, emphasizing the camera island as the main visual anchor.

The anticipated design updates come alongside substantial camera hardware improvements. The S26 Ultra is rumored to feature a next-generation 200MP main sensor with an f/1.4 aperture for enhanced low-light performance. Both the Pro and Edge models are expected to receive 50MP ultrawide sensors, while the Ultra is reportedly gaining a more advanced 12MP 3x telephoto sensor and a 50MP 5x periscope lens with a wider f/2.9 aperture, significant upgrades over last year’s S25 Ultra.

Collectively, these leaks suggest Samsung is adopting a consistent, cohesive design language across the 2026 flagship range, while providing meaningful advancements in imaging technology. With the S26 Edge rumored to introduce a full-width camera bump, the lineup is poised to offer clear differentiation for consumers.
