Erencan YılmazSamsung is preparing to release its latest “Fan Edition” smartphone, and a recent flurry of leaks has provided us with a good glimpse of the forthcoming Galaxy S25 FE before its official release. Complete renders have emerged, revealing the phone’s entire design and color variants, while recent reports confirm a series of previously leaked specs, providing a well-rounded overview of the device.
A Lighter, More Compact Design
Photos from Android Headlines reveal that the Galaxy S25 FE will be available in four colors: Black, Icy Blue, Navy, and White. All of the colors feature sleek aluminum sides with a reflective silver appearance.
The new phone is expected to have a nicer shape, measuring 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4mm, which makes it a bit smaller than the last model, the Galaxy S24 FE. This smaller size is said to come from making the edges around the screen thinner. Even though it’s smaller, the S25 FE will also be lighter, weighing 190g, which is 23g less than the Galaxy S24 FE.
Confirmed Specs and Upgrades
Leaks reveal the Galaxy S25 FE will be a powerful mid-range device. It will feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. The device will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.0 pre-installed and should receive seven years of significant Android OS and security updates.
One of the biggest improvements is the battery, which is said to be a bigger 4,900mAh cell with 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. That’s a big step up from the 4,700mAh battery and 25W charging of the Galaxy S24 FE, with improved endurance and quicker top-ups on offer.
The camera configuration is rumored to comprise a 50MP main sensor with OIS, 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 12MP front shooter is said to be available for selfies. The smartphone is also said to feature an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. With its streamlined look, improved innards, and fresh color choices, the Galaxy S25 FE is shaping up to be a worthy follow-up aimed at pleasing fans who desire the high-end experience without the flagship cost. The device is expected to cost around €679 and may be revealed as soon as next month.
