Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series storage and color options leaked

New information regarding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 tablet lineup has surfaced, outing important specs for the regular and Ultra models, along with indications of a major lineup revision. Recently, Tipster @MysteryLupin posted on X that the “Plus” variant may be phased out, adding credibility to previous rumors.

The leaks offer information on RAM, storage variants, and color options for the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, pointing to Samsung’s strategic streamlining of its tablet lineup. This possible consolidation of the product lineup is intended to merge market segments, emphasizing distinct differences between premium and more affordable devices, ultimately influencing consumer choice and market positioning for the upcoming generation of Galaxy tablets.

Galaxy Tab S11 and Ultra: Top-of-the-line specifications

The leaked specs point toward strong specifications for the flagship models in the Galaxy Tab S11 lineup:

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 (5G) will boast a hefty 12GB of RAM. Storage will be flexible, with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB versions available. Buyers will have the option of Gray and Silver color schemes. Earlier rumors, derived from certification images, revealed the tablet would take on a classic family look, with a length of around 254.3mm and a width of about 165.8mm.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (5G) will also feature 12GB of RAM, solidifying its status as a high-end device. In terms of storage, it will have 256GB and 512GB variants, while having the same Gray and Silver color scheme as the regular Tab S11. The Ultra variant is speculated to carry over its predecessor’s design, though with expected smaller bezels. The key design change for the Ultra variant is said to be a U-shaped notch that is small.

The Intriguing Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and lineup streamlining

Surprisingly, the leak also included specifications for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite (5G), indicating a sustained emphasis on more affordable options within Samsung’s overall tablet lineup. The Lite variant is said to include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Color options for the Tab S10 Lite will be Gray, Coral Red, and Silver. Destined largely for multimedia consumption and light gaming, the Tab S10 Lite will presumably share a common design language with the Galaxy Tab S11 while incorporating differentiated features to keep it affordable.

Crucially, there was no mention of a Galaxy Tab S11 Plus model in @MysteryLupin’s leak. This lack of reference, coupled with other earlier suggestions and industry indications, makes it strongly appear that Samsung might well be phasing out the “Plus” model from its premium tablet lineup. This would simplify the line, allowing Samsung to more easily distinguish between the standard, Ultra, and Lite models, and sharpen its approach in the competitive tablet market to improve product clarity and market segment targeting.
