The latest from tech website SamLover is that the tablet has been certified by Switzerland’s SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance), uncovering a significant battery boost.
This certification, along with leaked photos, forms a better picture of what consumers can anticipate from Samsung’s high-end tablet offering, indicating ongoing dedication to increasing both durability and visual appeal for a more engaging user experience. These early disclosures imply that Samsung is busy addressing user appeals for extended battery life and improved screen design in its premium tablet lineup.
Notable Battery Capacity Boost
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is confirmed to have a powerful 11600mAh typical battery capacity. This is a significant 3.5% more than its previous model, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which was equipped with a 11200mAh typical capacity.
Previous reports in May already suggested this upgrade, reporting that the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (with battery model number EB-BX936ABY) had a rated capacity of approximately 11374 mAh. This was 494 mAh more than the rated capacity of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra at 10880 mAh. The consistency of these reports supports the anticipation of better battery life, giving users longer productivity and entertainment on-the-go.
Subtle Design Evolution with a Significant Notch Change
Aesthetically, leaked certification images for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra show that the tablet will mostly keep the same design as its predecessor. Although the general form factor is still recognizable, it is hoped that Samsung will reduce the display bezels, providing a larger screen-to-body ratio. The most notable and expected visual alteration is in the front camera housing.
The notch that existed in the previous model is said to be evolving into a smaller, U-shaped cutout. This design refinement is intended to reduce intrusion on the screen, possibly providing a more contiguous and visually appealing viewing experience without sacrificing anything in terms of camera capability.
