Samsung improves One UI 7 animations to be more fluid

Samsung is focusing on improving and refreshing the animations used in the system interface in the One UI 7.0 beta. However, the animation performance of the first beta has received some criticism from users.

Beta testers have criticized that the animations are not fluid enough yet. Samsung has taken this feedback into account and confirmed that the development process is ongoing. The company aims to provide a more impressive and smooth experience on Galaxy devices.

On the Samsung Community forums in the US, a beta tester commented that the animations in the current beta look less natural compared to the animations in the previous version used in the “ZXKN” internal tests.

Responding to this criticism, a Samsung moderator said, “The animations in the internal test build look more fluid, as you describe. We are still in the process of improving them,” confirming that the animations will be further improved.

Animations are an important component of the smartphone user experience. Operations such as opening applications, screen transitions and menu usage are supported by animations, providing a visual flow to the user.

Samsung aims to deliver an interface that combines both functionality and aesthetics so that users can have a more emotional connection with their devices.

Samsung unveiled key features of One UI 7.0 at the 2024 SDC event, highlighting innovations such as a new design language, modern blur effects and improved animations.

The company continues to work on features that will create a positive experience for users in their daily interactions.

Animations will be further improved during the beta process and a new beta version is expected to be released in the coming days. Users continue to provide feedback for Samsung’s future enhancements by experiencing the beginnings of these innovations with the first beta.
