Samsung released One UI 8 Beta 3 to Galaxy S24 series with key bug fixes

Samsung is moving quickly with One UI 8 development, pushing out its third beta for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra just two weeks after the previous update. This release doesn’t focus on adding flashy new features; instead, it’s all about stability and resolving user-reported issues, which is essential groundwork as the software approaches its public launch.

The Galaxy S24 series has received One UI 8 Beta 3

Currently rolling out in South Korea under firmware version ZY13, the update is relatively small in size but addresses several persistent bugs that have impacted the user experience. Key fixes include:

  •  Lock screen clock now remains in the correct position, resolving the issue where it would randomly shift down.
  •  “Stretched Font” style now applies as intended.
  •  Thin or distorted fonts in areas like the status bar, PIN input, and navigation bar have been corrected.
  •  The lock screen’s fast execution icon will no longer disappear unexpectedly.

These targeted improvements play a significant role in refining One UI 8, demonstrating Samsung’s responsiveness to beta feedback and commitment to delivering a polished, stable product. While this beta version is currently exclusive to South Korea, users in other active beta regions including the US, UK, and India should expect availability soon.

Galaxy S24 series beta participants can check for the update via Settings > Software update > Download and install. With this pace of development, a stable One UI 8 release for the Galaxy S24 series appears imminent, bringing the Android 16 experience to a broader user base.
